Just a small update - finally transfered to Barnes late last night. We saw the pain management doctor this am and he took all of dad's info and is reviewing his case, but not much other news to report.... Dad's pain is still extreme and comes on quickly - he has small periods of time where he is feeling good throughout the day. This is a littttle better than yesterday, but not much. We're still waiting to see the other doctors who make up his "team of care" - neuro-surgery and oncology...hoping they are reviewing his case togther and can provide some answers/direction this afternoon...
As a side note, thank you to everyone who wrote mom comments, text, cards, calls and/or who stopped by the hospital for her birthday yesterday. I know it helped brighten the day for her and she really appreciated it.
