Dad recently went to the dermatologist and there were a few areas on his skin that looks suspicious and needed to be removed. This is a common side effect to taking the chemo drug he is on. The spots were sent to biopsy, but hopefully there will be no further action needed beyond removing them.
Irregardless of the dermatologist appointment, Dad has been feeling GREAT for the last week or so...his pain has been really low lately - it's a nice change. So low, some days he said he actually makes it all day with no pain at all. Can't even remember the last time this was the case ...and although we're not sure how long this will last, we're thankful he's feeling good and able to enjoy some spring-like weather!
