For the most part, Dad seems about the same this morning. He is alert and talking but really agitated. He just returned from his MRI, which will show us through images, the results of the surgery yesterday. They will also be doing a procedure to put a temporary filter in at some point today to prevent blood clots, since Dad is no longer able to be on blood thinners with Melanoma (melanoma is known to bleed) and previously had a pulmonary embolism.
The doctors have been amazing... These ICU nurses so far on the other hand... are not on my "favorite people list" - lets just put it that way. Dad was able to get up earlier for a very short time - I'm not sure of the plan beyond the filter procedure today, but hopefully he will be able to move out of the ICU soon...

Hang in there! Prayers for your Dad. I agree...we had issues with the ICU nurses there, too. Thanks for stopping by this morning..if I was thinking clearer, I would have come over to see if you needed anything after Mike was finished. Tell your mom to email is she wants...I know she called, but my phone crashed.
