Hi, I'm Aften - Earl's favorite daughter (don't tell Ariel). I'm not a blogger, but decided to put this together 1. To help myself get through this process (selfish I know) 2. To provide a central outlet for information, prayers, encouraging thoughts, jokes and comments (make a few of them sarcastic too - you know how dad likes to BS) and 3. Because I know dad is going to love reading this one day as we look back on this time and say...yeah, that was scary,but you kicked some serious cancer ass!

Yay! Hawaii!
Ok ok i'm guilty - its been ALMOST a whole months since I've posted. Life has been really busy, but tomorrow is the big day! We are off to Hawaii! Dad is in great spirits and feeling pretty well. We did hold on starting the treatment until we return...but no talk about the C this week! We are only going to be talking sand, beaches memories and Austin & Kristen's big day! Thanks again for all of the support and big thanks to Kristin & Jared and Mike & Kathy for watching our little nugget while we're away! Looking forward to a great trip and will post photos soon!
