Dad's coming home tomorrow. Medically, he's about the same as my last update - stable..has some leg pain tonight, but he's stable and much improved from last week. Doctors met today and don't feel he is strong enough to go to a rehab facility at this point and irregardless, Dad's been wanting to go all week. The plan is to work on getting better and stronger from the comfort of home. Hoping being home will lift his spirits and give him strength - after about a month in the hospital, he could really really use some positive reinforcement and encouragement right now.
Please send a few extra prayers tonight - could personally use a 'pick me up.' Thanks again for such amazing support - last weeks progress was a miracle, but Dad could really use some extra prayers for strength, peace and positive encouragement tonight.
Ill update again once he is home and settled tomorrow - discharge is always a nightmare, so it could be the evening by the time he makes his escape!
