Adding a little update...Dad had a "seizure-like" episode last week where he had a short period of uncontrollable trembling of his hand/arm. He's also had some increased shoulder pain and tiredness/weakness and irritability (likely due to lack of sleep and comfort). Anyway, as a result, his MRI was moved up to this past Saturday and he also completed a EEG test at the end of last week. The doctor increased his anti-seizure meds and we're waiting to hear on both test results. We should hear either today at some point or tomorrow. Prayers, prayers that these symptoms are just reactions to meds or from lack of rest or diet.
On a different note - we want to send a big thank you to all of you for your continued support, encouragement and help. It means so much to Mom and Dad. From meals and desserts to visits, outings, errands, cards and prayers...just want you to know we appreciate everything. A special thanks to the "angels" as Mom calls them, who surprised Mom and Dad by cleaning up their landscaping and yard and spent the afternoon planting flowers while they were away at the MRI appointment on Saturday (Tina & Bob Donnewald ...Steve & Kelly Lake and possibly others). Mom was really emotional (of course as usual :)) when arriving home to the surprise, but want you to know how much they appreciated the gesture. With me being really pregnant..Austin working and Ariel wrapping up school and starting her internship, the yard was something we really just haven't been able to get to helping with so thank you again so much.
Baby Zurliene 2 is scheduled to arrive on Friday, but I will try my best to keep everyone updated this week beforehand once we know the scan results.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers...hope you enjoyed a nice and relaxing day yesterday. We got together for breakfast at Kristen & Austin's, Dad took a nice long nap and the rest of us relaxed outside for most of the day.
