Hi, I'm Aften - Earl's favorite daughter (don't tell Ariel). I'm not a blogger, but decided to put this together 1. To help myself get through this process (selfish I know) 2. To provide a central outlet for information, prayers, encouraging thoughts, jokes and comments (make a few of them sarcastic too - you know how dad likes to BS) and 3. Because I know dad is going to love reading this one day as we look back on this time and say...yeah, that was scary,but you kicked some serious cancer ass!

Dad's Scans

I got my info a little mixed up re: Dad's appointments. This Friday he will have a brain MRI to take another look at his brain post radiation as well as a spinal MRI - the doctors think his leg pain is stemming from sciatica in his spine (which he will have PT to fix), so while they do a brain MRI they are going to go ahead and do one of his spine to see how bad the sciatica is.

Also, his full body scans are scheduled for next Tuesday...

SO, big prayers Wednesday for Mom's procedure and big prayers needed Friday and next Tuesday re: Dad's scans

Big prayers for your mom and dad. Praying for good news for your Dad and a successful and safe surgery for your mom. Hang in there...you've got your hands full this week!
